Everton have held face-to-face talks with Ipswich striker Liam Delap, with manager David Moyes in attendance. The meeting, which took place this week, saw the Toffees present their project to the 22-year-old forward. Delap, who plays as a striker, has been the subject of interest from several top clubs, including Chelsea and Manchester United, with a £30m release clause reportedly available.

According to recent reports, Delap has been in impressive form for Ipswich, prompting interest from several Premier League clubs. The striker joined Ipswich Town from Manchester City in July 2024 for an undisclosed fee. Everton are reportedly willing to offer a significant salary to secure Delap’s services, should they be able to agree a deal with Ipswich. Chelsea and Manchester United remain keen on signing the young striker, with a £30m price tag, as reported earlier this month, and back in April.
