Strasbourg has reached an agreement with Borussia Dortmund to sign defender Soumaila Coulibaly for a total fee of €8.5m, with €7.5m being the initial payment and an additional €1m potentially being added. The transfer is a direct move from Borussia Dortmund to Strasbourg, with no involvement of Chelsea in the deal. Coulibaly is set to sign a five-year contract with Strasbourg. According to the deal, the defender will be under contract with Strasbourg until the end of the five-year period.
