Bayern Munich’s young striker Mathys Tel is set to join Tottenham Hotspur on a permanent deal, with an agreement expected to be reached. The transfer is reportedly worth €35m, in addition to a €10m loan fee, as reported by BILD, citing sources close to the matter, including @cfbayern and @altobelli13 on X.

The player, who plays as a striker, had been on loan at Tottenham since earlier this year. During his time at the club, he made his first start in the FA Cup in February. Tel’s style of play and progress had impressed Ange Postecoglou, the then-Tottenham manager, who praised the young forward’s development in April. It is understood that Tel will remain at Tottenham under the new head coach, Thomas Frank.

Tel’s move to Tottenham was initially confirmed by Postecoglou in February, after the player chose the club over other offers. The deal was initially structured as a loan, but it now appears that the two clubs are finalising a permanent transfer. Bayern Munich’s Director had previously spoken about Tel’s uncertain future at the club in March, hinting at a potential exit.
