According to the plan, Páez will gain more game time with Strasbourg before returning to Chelsea.
Páez joined Chelsea in 2025, having previously played for Independiente del Valle. The 19-year-old’s style of play is characterised by his dribbling skills and vision on the pitch. With this loan move, Páez is expected to get regular playing time, which will help him develop his skills further. Chelsea had brought Páez to their Cobham training centre in February 2025, ahead of his official move to the club.
