Liverpool have commenced medical tests on Hungarian left-back Milos Kerkez, who arrived at the club on Monday. The 19-year-old is set to sign a contract with the Reds shortly, with a £40m deal reportedly agreed upon with his former club, Bournemouth. Kerkez, known for his attacking prowess, has previously played for AZ Alkmaar’s youth teams before joining Bournemouth. As a left-back, he is recognised for his ability to support both the defence and the attack. According to recent reports, Liverpool have been in advanced talks with Bournemouth over the transfer, with negotiations ongoing since March. With the medical tests underway, the completion of Kerkez’s transfer to Liverpool appears imminent, as previously indicated by sources close to the deal, with according to reports from June 4 and June 23.
