Manchester United manager Rúben Amorim has confirmed that Alejandro Garnacho remains a part of the club, despite not being included in the squad for a recent match. According to Amorim, Garnacho is still a Manchester United player and will be joining the team for their post-season tour. Amorim stated, “Alejandro Garnacho continues to be a Man United player, not in the squad today but still a Man United player.” The manager emphasised the importance of having the entire squad together for the tour, saying, “We need to be all there, we have to give something back to our fans.”

Garnacho, who plays as a winger, has previously been under scrutiny for his team selection. Amorim has defended his decisions regarding the player, as reported on May 21. The winger has been with Manchester United since his youth and is known for his attacking style of play. With Amorim at the helm, Manchester United has been undergoing changes, with some reports suggesting that the club is backing his plans amid transfer talks, as seen on May 22. Amorim has also made it clear that certain key players, such as Bruno Fernandes, will be staying with the club, as stated on May 24.
