Tottenham has reached an agreement with Mathys Tel to sign the player on a permanent deal. The player, who plays as a forward, has accepted the contract conditions. The club-to-club agreement is nearing completion, with a total transfer fee of €35m, accompanied by a €10m loan fee and €5m in potential add-ons.
According to the latest developments, the deal is expected to be finalised soon. Tel was on loan at Tottenham before deciding to join the club permanently. The young forward has been with Bayern previously. Manager Ange Postecoglou had previously expressed his satisfaction with Tel’s progress, stating that he had made significant improvements. Postecoglou had also confirmed that Tottenham was his preferred destination, having chosen the club over other offers. Tottenham had initially sought a buy option in the loan deal, which has now resulted in a permanent transfer.
