AC Milan has welcomed midfielder Samuele Ricci as its new player, with the transfer deal worth €25m including add-ons. The Italian midfielder has arrived in Milano to complete the signing process. According to Fabrizio Romano, the transfer had been confirmed since last week.
Ricci, who plays as a central midfielder, was previously under contract with Torino. The club had agreed to a €23m deal with AC Milan for the player’s transfer on June 28, 2025. The midfielder had committed his future to Torino until 2028, before the transfer was finalised. Earlier in the season, Ricci had addressed speculation surrounding a potential move to Manchester City, denying any imminent transfer.
Ricci’s style of play is characterised by his ability to control the tempo of the game as a deep-lying midfielder. His transfer to AC Milan marks a significant addition to the club’s midfield.
